After an incredible 6 seasons, Afghan Star embarks on its seventh season – bigger, brighter and with more surprises along the way. The Afghan Star “caravan” has revved up its engine and started its exciting journey across the nation in search of a new Star. Kabul auditions were completed with over 5,000 registrations. The judges this season have a tough job ahead of them. Ustad Arman, Wajiha Rastagar and Qaasim Ramishgar ploughed through three long days of auditions to tune in, tune out and ultimately select those they think have got what it takes to make it to the next round. The historic Balkh province and second spot for auditions also proved to be a tough competitive ground, and the judges deliberated among a talented pool of contestants. The caravan is back on the road and on its way to the cultural heartland Herat.
