He is originally from Bagrami district of Kabul but currently resides in Pul Khumri. He was born in 1360 lunar year. He has graduated from the Business School of Kabul and is married and has a son and a daughter. He loves his young daughter a lot. He likes Volleyball. He has made a lot of efforts to learn music and is a big fan of Ustaad Qasim Baksh. He has worked in Grain Depot (Silo) of Pul-e-Khumri for 5 years and now he works in the Ministry of Interior Affairs as an accountant. Gheyas reached 12th position in this season’s Afghan Star.
