What surprises can we expect from the city of love and stars in episode 4? First up is Zohra, who vowed her singing would fare even in better in the next round without her veil. As Heart’s hopefuls filed through, Ustad Shahla and Rameshgar began to disagree more and more often on what constitutes a successful audition.

Abdullah’s passion was always football until he was stricken with polio in the midst of the war. Now he’s put his energies into song and advanced to the next round. Mirwais has been practicing while managing his shop, and though he charmed the judges, he’ll have to keep at it and try his luck again year. Jawad, back again after last year, hopes to bring the local style of singing to the national stage and follow in his brothers footsteps in the Heart tradition. Nazir faced a divided vote among the judges, but they decided to give him one more chance to prove himself in the next round.

Hossein Ahmadi and his sister traveled from Kabul to try out, but will have to return home empty handed. Fawad made the trek from Isfahan with is guitar, but the notes he played didn’t sync with his melodies. Arash also sang with his six string, but the judges wanted him to focus more on his vocals, so a judge offered to play the guitar part. Can you guess which one? You’ll have to watch and see.

That’s it for the provinces. On to round 4!
